Tour Description

Relax and enjoy the healing waters of an ancient sacred cave. Meet local Tanzanians and our musician friends who drop in most days. Join a jam session, and something beyond beaches: Cave Swimming, African Dancing, Drumming and Zanzibar History. Kuza Cave is managed in partnership with the traditional owners in Kibigija Village.

10:00 am - Arrive at Kuza Cave Swim in the crystal clear cave water. Enjoy the peaceful jungle. See archaeological artefacts from the cave and a timeline of Swahili history going back to the beginning of our story as humans originating in East Africa. 11:30 am. We are a social enterprise support local artists and musicians who often drop in for an afternoon of traditional African drumming and dancing. 2:00 pm – Finish

“A must visit place, has so much to do. Enjoy the serene beaches, which are definitely less crowded. Water sports activities are enjoyable, and varied. Visit to Prison Island, Stone Town City and Maruhubi Ruins, are a must see. Our private driver is Mr. Nassor. He was very nice, reliable and patient, with really good knowledge on Zanzibar. In additions, he knew the roads so well so he could avoid the traffic jam. He actually accompanied us every place we visited, explained us all about the place and everything.
