Taking the Flight from Zanzibar to Mtemere Airstrip – Selous Game Reserve

A member of our team will meet you at your hotel to give you the briefing and all the necessary information regarding your safari to Selous Game Reserve and answer all the questions that you might have, then transfer to Zanzibar Airport. Leaving Zanzibar Airport at 07h35, arriving in Mtemere Airstrip at 08h20; received by our safari guide.

Departure for half day safari game drive sightseeing the game-rich areas in the park driving through the savannah and along the river and lakes, Picnic lunch at lunch time in a stunning location with a clear view of the park. At around 16hoo, you will depart for a sunset boat safari along the Great Rufiji River to spot hippos, crocodiles and water birds and enjoy the spectacular sunset. The rest of the evening will be spent at your leisure, bonfire, dinner and overnight at Selous Mbega Camp or Africa Safari Selous.

Selous Game Reserve – Mtemere Airstrip – Then Flight Back to Zanzibar

In the morning after breakfast, drive to the park and enjoy a final early morning game drive later leave the park experience en route game drive slowly drive to the airstrip so that you can take pictures, then catch your flight to Zanzibar, where you will arrive in the late evening, on arrival you will meet your driver and be dropped off at the hotel for overnight.
